Rhodes Foods joined the Department of Trade and Industry and other members of SAFVCA at the Eat well, Eat safe, Eat local and Nutritious Expo at Vangate Mall in Athlone on Monday. Minister of Trade and Industry, Rob Davies, delivered the keynote address while Chef Lentswe Bhengu demonstrated how to prepare delicious and healthy meals using Rhodes Foods canned products.

A Rhodes Cover Kid competition launched in October last year with the maverick magazine title Kuier, produced an avalanche of entries, plus a new winning advert for the Rhodes brand.

Internationally-recognised food processing business RFG Foods (RFG) has concluded a transaction whereby senior management, Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners and Capitalworks acquired 100% of the company from the previous shareholders.

As part of the Ayrshire world congress, the Ayrshire national championships was held on the 25th and 26th of April in Bloemfontein and RFG Foods was proud to receive the following trophies at the 2012 Gala dinner.
