New strawberry & banana flavour promises to add excitement to summer

RFG Foods, the brand known for quality, innovation and convenience, announced the launch of its new 100% fruit juice range today. Comprising 13 great tasting flavours, the juice is packaged in a long-life carton that allows it to retain its true flavour, without the need for preservatives or added sugar.

The food products manufacturer has long been associated with the fruit industry in South Africa and is locally and internationally respected for its high quality canned fruit. “It just made sense for us to launch our own range given our strong vertical integration in fruit and our skill and knowledge base in fruit processing, which allows us to further add value through our new offering of the 100% fruit juice range,” says Richard Phillips, Commercial Director of RFG.

Made for people who love great tasting juice, the comprehensive range is made up of the following flavours: Red Grape, Apple, Orange, Tropical, Cranberry, Guava, Mango, Pineapple, Litchi, Tomato, Ruby Grapefruit and Mango & Orange. The unique and exciting Strawberry & Banana flavour has arrived just in time to add a splash of newness to the upcoming summer months.

The Tomato, Mango, Strawberry & Banana, Grapefruit and Apple flavours have a low Glycemic Index (GI) and are endorsed by Diabetes South Africa.

Richard Phillips continues, “Consumers will love the new 100% fruit juice range. It tastes good and quenches thirst. It can be enjoyed as is, frozen as ice-lollies, drunk as smoothies or used as refreshing mixers.”

The range’s long-life packaging format means that consumers can buy a range of flavours to keep in their pantry, ready to be used when needed. Only once opened does the juice have to be stored in the fridge.

Rhodes 100% fruit juices are available in 2 litre, 1 litre or 200 ml cartons. The latter is the perfect size for lunch-boxes and those on-the-go.
