In 2013, RFG Foods acquired Bull Brand Foods, renowned for its quality and convenient meat products produced under the iconic Bull Brand brand.

Established in 1957, the Bull Brand brand has solidified itself as a heritage brand in South Africa, firmly attributed to its commitment to quality.

Their facility is located in Krugersdorp, Gauteng. RFG’s insistence on the highest standards of health, safety, and hygiene is done through its Food Safety Management System (FSSC 22000), which includes HACCP. All products are approved by the NRCS before leaving the factory.

RFG’s baked bean production facility is situated adjacent to the meat production facility, and produces canned baked beans under the Rhodes Quality brand as well as private label ranges.
